A Brief Summary
Tintin in the Land of the Soviets was the first Tintin book, published in Le Petit Vingtième (the children's supplement to the Belgian newspaper Le Vingtième Siècle) between 20 January 1929 and 11 May 1930, and appearing in album form in 1930. Since his first appearance, over 200 million copies of the comic books have been sold to date, with translations into over 58 languages.
